Athens Fashion Week 08

The Hellenic Fashion Designers Association is organizing the 8th Greek Fashion Week for Summer 2008, at the Technopolis complex in Gazi. The events start on Tuesday and will run until October 12th. Honorary guest at the event will be the designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac who will be in charge of the visual arrangement of Technopolis. He will also present his collection for Spring/Summer 2008. The following Greek designers will also present their Spring and Summer 2009 collections: angelos aratis, andria, aslanis, Chara Lebessi, Christoforos Cotentos, Christos Costarellos, Costas Faliakos, Dimitris Dassios, Filep Motwary, Frida Karadima, Katerina Alexandraki, Katerina Karoussos, Kathy Heyndels, Makis Tselios, Maria Mastori, Mi-Ro, Nikos-Takis, Parthenis, Simeoni, Smaragdi, Vassilis Zoulias, Veloudakis, Victoria Kyriakides, Vrettos Vrettakos, Yiannos Xenis, Yiorgos Eleftheriades. The cypriot designers Afroditi Hera, Elena Strongyliotou, collage social and the foreign designers Af Vandevorst, Marios Schwab, Cassette Playa, Juun J, Custo Barcelona will also be presenting their work. This year's events will have two catwalks, a trade show room and a night boutique with clothes and accessories by renowned designers. It will also include a Fashion Trend Prognosis for the summer of 2008 with the latest fashion trends in shoes and leather accessories.
