Georges Chakra is a visionary designer that has lent his unique fashion sense to celebrities and style enthusiasts alike. Created back in 1985, his one-of-a-kind label has grown rapidly from a customized local workshop into an international fashion house.

Since 2002, Chakra has been biannually presenting his couture line during Paris Fashion Week in France.

In February 2009, he launched, as part of the official New York Fashion week, "Edition by Georges Chakra," a luxurious ready-to-wear line for the modern and self-confident woman.

Passionate about his work, Chakra launches every season new trends and ideas. His bold creativity has made his collections unpredictable and full of surprises. His fashion shows are always greeted with overwhelming success, which led him to create unique dresses for various royals as well as Hollywood celebrities, like Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Queen Latifah, Mariah Carey, Marcia Cross, Helen Mirren, Tyra Banks, and many others.

His brand receives extensive coverage in major magazines, such as InStyle, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Elle, Madame Figaro, Gala and Genlux.

Chakra's haute couture collection was also featured in the 2006 hit movie The Devil Wears Prada, starring Academy Award winning actress Meryl Streep.
