Cahrleston Fashion Week 2009

It looks as if Raleigh will be represented in one of South Carolina's biggest fashion events. Raleigh designer Jonathon Nigel Moore has been picked to show his spring 2009 collection during Charleston Fashion Week in March. He'll be part of the 2009 Emerging Designer Competition, which highlights the design talent of young, undiscovered fashion designers in the Southeast. Moore, whose day job is in visual merchandising at Macy's in Raleigh, was named as a semifinalist after showing two pieces from his line, which is called J.N.M.
