Cape Town Fashion Week

Nokia Cape Town Fashion Week, Africa's largest gathering of fashion talent, will take place from 8th -11th August 2008. Now in its fifth year, the event has grown into one of the premiere 'new world' fashion weeks providing an international platform for designers from across sub-Saharan Africa. This year's event celebrates a new creative spirit across the continent and has the theme New World Africa: meaning both the redefining of the continent locally and internationally and a celebration of the opportunities of 21st Century Africa. Cape Town's heritage as the gateway for many international visitors to Africa and its eclectic blend of different cultures makes it the perfect meeting place for one of the most dynamic and diverse groups of creative talent in the world.
