Cape Town Fashion Week, South Africa's largest gathering of fashion talent, takes place 13 - 16 of August 2007, where South Africa's leading fashion designers will launch their Spring/Summer 2006/2007 collections. Leading stylish mobile company, Virgin Mobile, recently secured the headline sponsorship of acclaimed Cape Town Fashion Week, to be officially renamed Virgin Mobile Cape Town Fashion Week. For the first time, the events opening day will be presented by the Cape Town Fashion Council, and will feature specially selected and carefully curated new designers showing for the first time. Cape Town will come alight every evening as renown designers celebrate their collection launches with bespoke after parties at selected venues across the city. The Virgin Mobile Cape Town Fashion Week will take place over 4 days in a purpose-built venue in two halls at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
